MIA...and a lovely chat with poison control

132735695_951c337d76 ....it's been awhile since I've added anything to this lovely blog of mine....I've been designing and cutting and experiencing scrapbook overload....sadly, that's about all that's exciting in my neck of the woods lately! Except for my poor neglected child that drank toilet water tonight...we were getting ready to go out and watch the Jazz game, and I turned around to grab some hairspray, and when I turned back around Jackson was drinking the water from the little cup that holds the toilet bowl scrubber...YUM! So, after frantically calling poison control with the toilet cleanser bottle in hand, they tell me that they are more worried about him getting sick from toilet bacteria...lovely...I think this was the beginning of many "hey mom, I need some attention" moments...poor guy! So, unfortunately, I have no fun/exciting scrapbook project to share, just a sad story about my poor neglected little man...but I can promise that when life slows down and the little man is no longer interested in drinking toilet water, I have some fun apage4allseasons layouts to share, and my "Ordinary Miracle" acrylic album is also ready to show off!

...and one of these days I might make up my mind on a blog design that I actually like...

PS: This is my plug for you to check out the Page 4 All Seasons booth at the scrapbook expo this weekend!

Just Another Ordinary Miracle...

...how amazing is this song? Doesn't it just seem like the perfect scrapbook subject? Wouldn't it make the most incredible little acrylic mini album....hmmm....wanna make one too? Check back here for sneak peeks of the class I'll be teaching at the A Page 4 All Seasons retreat in May!

"Just Another Ordinary Miracle" Acrylic Album

It's not that unusual when everything is beautiful. All around you, right now, are ordinary miracles. Proof that life is good. This class is designed to help you find the beauty in your seemingly ordinary life...miracles, in the most ordinary of circumstances. Kathleen Magee said, "In life there are no ordinary moments. Most of us never realize the most significant moments of our lives when they are happening."
You will complete (and I mean the, photos added and journaling included, kind of complete) a 14-page acrylic album. You will create your own photographic proof of the ordinary miracles in your life. In order to get the full effect of this class, you will need to come to class prepared with your photos and journaling ready to add to your book. Upon signing up, you'll receive a list of the supplies you need to bring and the "homework" you will need to have completed when you come to class.
